1. Who we are and what this covers
Ylemos Inc is a Wyoming, United States company. This Privacy Policy applies to Kindling, Hedah, Perith, Visitrep, Ryndix Scan, and Gluise (the “Apps”), this website, and support communications. Most Apps do not require a Ylemos account for core use. Ryndix Scan requires Sign in with Apple so credits, purchases, and scan history can remain attached to one account across supported devices. Gluise does not require an account for core use; its complete product-specific disclosure is available in the Gluise Privacy Policy.
2. Information handled by each App
| Product | Information | How it is handled |
|---|---|---|
| Kindling | Imported text, webpage links, selected audio, vocabulary, learning files, random installation identifier, and StoreKit transaction information. | Vocabulary and learning files are stored locally. Cloud inputs are processed only when you choose a cloud feature. |
| Hedah | Household plans, selected calendar copies, explicitly selected photos, chores, meals, groceries, and optional AI prompts. | Core data is local. Optional Apple iCloud/CloudKit sharing and selected AI features process the limited data needed for those functions. |
| Perith | Symptoms, cycle context, mood, sleep, energy, and journal notes that you choose to enter. | Personal entries remain on your device unless you explicitly share or export them. Perith sends limited, anonymized product-interaction analytics as described below. Perith is an educational tracking tool, not a medical device. |
| Visitrep | Medication and dose logs, symptom check-ins, appointment details, preferences, generated reports, and Apple Health records you choose to share. | Information is processed on device. Visitrep has no account, advertising, analytics, or developer-operated backend, and never writes to Apple Health. |
| Ryndix Scan | A Sign in with Apple account identifier, Apple-verified email address (which may be a private relay address), name when Apple shares it on first authorization, marketing-consent status and timestamp, purchase history, scan history, product-interaction events, and product photos you choose for analysis. | Account details, credits, and history are stored to provide the account-based service. Photos are sent only when you request a scan and are not retained after the request completes. Marketing email is optional, off by default, and does not affect app access or purchases. |
Apple may provide aggregated App Store analytics, crash reports, performance data, purchase status, or diagnostics according to your Apple settings. We use this information to operate purchases, understand reliability, and fix problems.
3. Kindling cloud processing
Kindling can work locally for pasted text, dictionary lookup, and vocabulary management. If you choose webpage extraction, AI-assisted annotations, podcast-link import, or cloud transcription, the information needed to complete that request leaves your device.
- Imported text, public webpage links, or selected sentences may be sent to Ylemos servers for extraction and annotation.
- Audio selected for cloud transcription is uploaded for speech-to-text processing.
- A random, app-generated installation identifier is sent with requests to enforce free and Plus usage limits. It is not an Apple hardware identifier or IDFA.
- StoreKit transaction information is sent for subscription validation. Ylemos does not receive your payment-card details.
Our backend is hosted by Railway and currently uses OpenAI for AI-assisted annotations and speech transcription. Inputs are used to return the requested result. Ylemos does not use imported content to train models or for advertising.
4. Service providers and sharing
Depending on the feature you choose, information may be processed by Apple for App Store purchases, device backup, iCloud, CloudKit, PhotosPicker, Sign in with Apple, or sharing; by Railway for Ylemos-hosted backend services; by OpenAI for Kindling annotations/transcription, selected Hedah AI features, and portions of Ryndix Scan analysis; by DeepSeek and Sorftime for portions of Ryndix Scan product research and analysis; by TelemetryDeck GmbH for Perith product analytics; and by email or business-service providers when you contact support.
Perith product analytics
Perith uses TelemetryDeck to understand basic product usage and improve reliability. It sends an anonymized identifier for the app installation, event names such as app launch, onboarding completion, paywall display, purchase result, or restore result, a timestamp rounded to the nearest hour, app and device metadata, and limited non-sensitive event properties such as a plan or product identifier and a purchase failure category. These analytics are not linked to your identity and are not used for tracking or advertising.
Perith does not send symptoms, journal text, Apple Health data, treatment details, appointment notes, exported reports, or other health content to TelemetryDeck. TelemetryDeck states that it does not store IP addresses, cookies, or identifiers traceable to an individual. See TelemetryDeck's privacy policy for details.
Ryndix Scan processing
When you start a scan, the selected image and request context are transmitted over an encrypted connection to our Railway-hosted service. The image may be processed by OpenAI and the product research may use DeepSeek or Sorftime. The image is held only for the time needed to complete the request and is not saved to the scan-history database. Providers may retain limited security or abuse-monitoring logs under their own policies.
People you invite to a Hedah CloudKit household can access the information shared with that household. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or our services.
5. Storage and retention
Kindling learning files, vocabulary status, and reading progress are stored locally. Kindling's backend is designed not to persist imported source text or audio after a request completes; it retains operational quota and entitlement records associated with the random installation identifier. Infrastructure and AI providers may keep limited security or abuse-monitoring logs under their own policies.
Hedah and Perith primarily use device storage. Visitrep data remains on device unless you export it. Perith's anonymized product analytics are retained by TelemetryDeck according to its privacy policy. Ryndix Scan retains its account profile, marketing-consent record, credit ledger, verified purchase records, scan results, and limited operational metrics while needed to provide and secure the service. Selected scan images are not retained after processing. When a Ryndix account is deleted in the app, the profile, marketing preference, sessions, scan history, and unused credits are removed; purchase records required for duplicate-redemption prevention, transaction reconciliation, accounting, tax, or legal compliance may remain only in de-identified form for the applicable period. A one-way trial-eligibility marker is retained to prevent repeated introductory credits; it does not contain your name or email and is not used for marketing. Account deletion also revokes our Sign in with Apple credential. If Apple cannot be reached, the app reports that deletion has not completed and you can retry; it does not silently report success. Apple services may retain backup, account, or purchase information according to Apple's policies. Support emails remain in our support records until no longer reasonably needed for support, security, or legal purposes.
6. Your choices and rights
- Delete local records inside an App or remove the App to delete its local container, subject to Apple backup and iCloud behavior.
- Avoid Kindling or Ryndix Scan cloud processing by not using their cloud features.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions and request purchase refunds through your Apple App Store account.
- Turn Ryndix product-update email on or off at any time in the app's Account screen. It is off by default and does not affect app access or purchases.
- Permanently delete a Ryndix Scan account inside the app from Account → Delete Account, and disconnect Ryndix separately in Apple Account settings if desired.
- Ask us to delete support communications or Kindling quota records associated with an identifiable app user ID.
- Exercise applicable access, correction, deletion, or objection rights by contacting us.
7. Children and sensitive information
The Apps are not directed to children under 13. Hedah may be used by adults to organize a household but does not require children to create Ylemos accounts. Do not import confidential audio, copyrighted content you are not allowed to process, or information that is unnecessary for the selected feature.
Visitrep can read health records you explicitly share and remains functional if you decline. It is not a medical device and does not advise dose changes. Do not include people, addresses, labels with personal information, or other sensitive content in Ryndix Scan photos unless it is necessary for the product analysis.
8. Security and international processing
We use encrypted network connections and platform security features appropriate to the services described above. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure. Ylemos is based in the United States, and providers may process information in the United States or other jurisdictions where they operate.
9. Policy changes
We may update this policy as our products, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, email service@ylemos-inc.com. Include the relevant App name and enough detail for us to understand your request. Do not send passwords, full payment details, private health records, or product photos containing personal information.
